P.A.W.S. First Fundraising Campaign! – Panther Animal Wellness of Seymour

This is our FIRST FUNDRAISER! Since May, 2024, this is what we have done for animals:

Rescued 22 cats/kittens (Folks this is a lot of food, litter, medicine & vet bills!!)
Started a Trap, Neuter/spay, Release (TNR) program – 25 feral cats fixed and vaccinated in the community.
Found 10 Kitties Forever Adoptive Homes (okay – 3 are with us indefinitely).
Created a Recovery Facility for TNR and rescue animals and created an enclosure for Rescues.
Helped many others in the community with their animals and rescue and rehoming efforts.
Started a Dog & Cat Food & Supply Donation & Pantry in collaboration with community partners.
Hosted a Doggie Painting Event, a Pet Costume Parade & Contest, and two (2) Kitty Adoption Events.

This is what we continue to do on a regular basis:

Indoors: We currently feed and care for 15 rescue kitties + Flower (the P.A.W.S. Mascot!)
Outdoors: We feed approximately 10 community/feral cats daily & provide food to others.
Provide TNR services at least 2 times a month (4 cats each trip).
Help others in the community with their cat & dog needs.
Host animal friendly events and education programs.

P.A.W.S Program Goals for 2024-25:

Fix & Vaccinate twelve (12) cats/kittens per month x 12 months = 144 Cats annually
Support 15 feline rescues in foster care per month
Host One Low Cost Dog & Cat Vaccination Event
Host two (2) Cat/Kitten Adoption Events per month
Provide regular cat and dog education and resources locally as well as online to help others helping animals.

Our goal for this campaign is raise $10,000 in order to sustain P.A.W.S. operations until spring when we plan to do a larger community fundraising event. After June we can begin applying for grants (our one (1) year mark as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit). The organization is all volunteer run, so your donation goes directly to helping rescue and care for animals!

Donate $60 – Family Planning! (Pays for fixing and vaccinations for two (2) animals). You receive: Personal thank you from Flower- the-Cat (the P.A.W.S. Mascot), plus a “P.A.W.S. Pet Calendar” for 2025.

Donate $100 – Sponsor a Kitten/Cat Rescue (While feral cats are fixed free thanks to a grant at PETS clinic – rescue kittens are not!) You receive: A paw-to-graphed picture and the story about your rescue animal, plus a thank you letter from Flower-the-Cat, and an update when your rescue gets a forever home, plus a “P.A.W.S. Pet Calendar” for 2025, and your choice of beautiful cat or dog magnets by renowned animal textile artist, Tammy Wenderlich.

Donate $250 – Health and Well-being (covers minor medical matter ) – Every week that we rescue animals someone needs to go to the vet. Normally, it’s just minor issues, but the costs add up. You receive: A paw-to-graphed picture of an animal you helped saved, a personal thank you letter from Flower-the-Cat, and an update on your animal’s recovery. Plus, your choice of beautiful cat or dog magnets by renown animal textile artist, Tammy Wenderlich, a “P.A.W.S. Pet Calendar” for 2025, and your choice of beautiful cat or dog magnets by renowned animal textile artist, Tammy Wenderlich and 2 tickets to the upcoming performance of “A Christmas Story” in Seymour, TX.

Donate $500 – Save-A-Life (Help with complicated or involved medical matters) – We also run into major medical issues with kitties. You receive: A paw-to-graphed picture of an animal you helped saved, a personal thank you letter from Flower-the-Cat, and an update on your animal’s recovery. Your choice of a handmade sterling silver dog or kitty necklace by Kate of S-for Sparkle. Plus, your choice of 2 tickets to the upcoming performance of “A Christmas Story” in Seymour, TX. or a set of animal cards by Plus, your choice of beautiful cat or dog magnets by renown animal textile artist, Tammy Wenderlich,

Donate $1000 – P.A.W.S Protection Insurance Coverage! Insurance would enable P.A.W.S. to do more! This amount will cover the annual insurance premium for P.A.W.S. (we need insurance in order to put on events, recruit foster families, and board members). You receive: A personal thank-you from Flower-the-Cat…

Donate $1500 – Monthly Maintenance (This about covers our average maintenance costs for the 20+ cats/kittens currently being cared for – barring any major health issues, plus facilitates 8 TNR sterilizations and vaccinations per month). You receive: “A Year of Deliciousness!” (4 total) deliveries of homemade local Texas Delicacies. A unique gift for your favorite animal lover. Plus, a personal thank-you from Flower-the-Cat.

Donate $2500 – Start something Good in the World . Your donation gift at this level will be split between critical now needs, preventative services, and an endowment fund to build for the future. No Animal Shelters exist in this county. Over 100 dogs are put down a year in Seymour alone, and there are no services for cats. We can do better! You receive: Recognition as a “Forever Founder” of P.A.W.S. The first 3 donations at this level receive original artworks of their pet (or any animal of your choosing). Plus, “A year of Deliciousness!” (4 total) deliveries of homemade local Texas Delicacies. Very unique gifts for your favorite animal lovers.

Largest Donation (must be over $2500) – Start Something Good in the World – To the person or business that makes the largest donation received by the end of the campaign! You receive: An Original Art Work & Song composed by Flower-the-Cat about a beloved animal of your Choice. This will be a very special unique gift for you or to an animal lover you know. Plus, A Year of Deliciousness! (4 total) deliveries of homemade local Texas Delicacies.
