P.A.W.S. Pre-Surrender Prevention Program

P.A.W.S. volunteers help community members who need to re-home their dogs and/or cats by connecting them to resources and supporting these individuals before they surrender or otherwise dispose of or abandon their dogs or cats.

P.A.W.S. Dog Pound Program

Since January 2025, P.A.W.S. volunteers have been working with Animal Control in Seymour, Texas to help dogs that come into the pound find their owners or secure new homes. This is a HUGE challenge given the 10 day window before a dog is euthanized! To date, we have been 100% successful – NO KILLS IN 2025 SO FAR!

P.A.W.S. Cat Rescue & Adoption Program

NO RESOURCES exist in Seymour or Baylor County, Texas for unwanted, abandoned, or injured cats . P.A.W.S. works with community members to find and support foster and adoptive homes for cats and kittens.
