Feline Adoption

Our Adoption Process

  • Search for cats here: or come to one of our adoption events.  Once you find a cat or kitten that you are interested in and want to adopt from us, then…
  • Complete our Adoption Application.
  • When your application is approved, a P.A.W.S. representative will contact you to set up a meet and greet of your kitty if you have not already met it (or do a virtual meeting!).
  • After meeting with your new kitty and if everything is a match, the last step is to sign our Adoption Contract and paying the adoption fee of $35 (Please Note: We do not profit from adoptions but attempt to recover some of the expenses incurred with spay/neutering, vaccinations, foster care, etc.).
  • The kitty will be delivered to your home.
  • We will follow up with you a few days after the adoption to make sure you and your new family member is adjusting well.

*P.A.W.S. lists our adoptable cats here on Adopt-a-Pet.com.

Sometimes our cats and kittens are posted on our Facebook page. If you are interested in one you have seen on our Facebook page, we will be happy to set up a meeting with them.

P.A.W.S. Adoptions

It is our goal to find loving, forever homes for all of our rescue cats and kittens.

All of P.A.W.S. cats and kittens are rescues. It is crucial that we find safe, permanent homes for the animals in our care.

All adoptable cats posted on Adopt-a-Pet are tested (& negative) for FIV & FELV, vaccinated for Rabies and receive the FVRP-C vaccine, administered a dewormer and are spayed or neutered. They are also treated for ear mites or fleas as needed.

The adoption fee helps pays for these costs. We do not profit from our adoptions, except knowing they are in safe, good, loving homes.

We require all adopters to keep their adopted cat or kitten indoors for their lifetime, and never surrender them to the city, give them away or abandon them.

We will always take our adopted cats or kittens back rather than see them surrendered or in an unsafe or bad situation.
